Publication Ethics (Disbanded)

The Virtual Working Group on Publication ethics was established in January 2008, following discussions at the first World Conference on Research Integrity. The aim is to produce a universal set of ethical guidelines covering issues, such as authorship, peer-review, the role of editors and conflicts of interest. This group was set up rapidly—following consultation with ICSU Scientific Unions—in order to interact with an initiative from the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers.
