The International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) is a UN-accredited international, non-government organization whose aim is to ensure that the disciplines of surveying and all who practise them throughout the world meet the needs of the communities they serve. It is a federation of national professional surveying organizations.

Founded in 1878 in Paris with seven member associations, its membership now embraces 85 associations in 72 countries. There are affiliate members and correspondents in a further 23 countries and academic members in 27 countries.
