Report on Urban Health and Wellbeing appears
ICSU publishes a Science Plan on the basis of which the 30th General Assembly decided to launch a major new, interdisciplinary initiative on Urban Health and Wellbeing
The web-based version of Health and Wellbeing in the Changing Urban Environment: a Systems Analysis Approach is now available for download here. This document, the work of an ICSU Planning Group set up for the purpose, was presented to the ICSU 30th General Assembly meeting in Rome. There, the ICSU membership unanimously agreed to establish a major new interdisciplinary initiative that would run for the coming ten years. The International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) will join ICSU in co-sponsoring the programme.
