Visit to Módulo Solar in Cuernavaca, Mexico

On 25 April, 2012 Manuel Limonta, Kerstin Schmidt-Verkerk and Maria Teresa Viramontes visited Módulo Solar in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Módulo Solar is a Mexican company specialized in the production and installation of solar technologies. ICSU ROLAC was invited to visit the offices and the production site of the company, which transforms high level technology into commercial products to enhance energy efficiency and the use of sustainable forms of energy.Módulo Solar had participated in the Workshop on Sustainable Energy: "Opportunities for Technological Transfer and Investment in Sustainable Energy in Latin America and the Caribbean” , which took place in Ocho Rios, Jamaica in April, 2012.

 

This workshop was organized by ICSU ROLAC in the context of its scientific priority area sustainable energy. One of the workshop objectives was to bring together scientists from different sustainable energy areas and the industrial sector of LAC, with the purpose of converting the results of scientific research in LAC into industrial and commercialized processes in LAC.
