Alternative Energy Workshop in Cancun, Mexico
From 31 October to 2 November 2011, the "First Mexico-Central America and the Caribbean Energetic Transition and Development of Alternative Energy" Workshop took place in Cancun, Mexico.
The objective of this workshop was to promote the collaboration between researchers from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean working on the energy sector. The present situation regarding access, provision, and demand of traditional energy versus alternative energy and climate change mitigation was discussed.
