Visit Regional Office UNISDR in Panama
On 21 June, 2012 Kerstin Schmidt-Verkerk visited the Regional Office for the Americas of the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) in Panama City.
During the meeting, synergies between the work of UNISDR in LAC and the ICSU ROLAC priority area natural hazards were sought.
In particular three upcoming events on natural hazards in the LAC region were discussed:
