Watch the sessions of the Science Forum in Rio

The Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development took place from 11-15 June, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The forum brought together leading international scientists and policy-makers to explore the key role of interdisciplinary science and innovation in the transition to sustainable development, a green economy and poverty eradication. The aim was to help establish the research, technology and policy agendas that will be needed after Rio+20. The program consisted of thematic sessions focused on in-depth exploration of key topics, and a wide range of side events.

All sessions were recorded and you can watch them online at http://puc-riodigital.com.puc-rio.br/cgi/cgilua.exe/sys/start.htm?sid=179. For further information check the Forum website.

The Forum was organized by ICSU, in partnership with UNESCO, the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), the International Social Science Council (ISSC), the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
