President of ICSU Honorary Member of ANCEFN

Prof. Yuan Tseh Lee, President of ICSU, was incorporated as Honorary Member into the Argentine National Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (Academia Nacional de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales - ANCEFN) on Friday, 31 August, 2012.

Roberto Cignoli, President of  ANCEFN, summarized the scientific achievements of Prof. Lee and stressed his important role as a promoter of science, and particularly sustainability science, worldwide. After the ceremony, Prof. Lee gave a lecture entitled: "Science, Technology and Sustainable Development of Human Society".
