The Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean relocated to Mexico, following an agreement signed by ICSU, the Mexican Academy of Sciences and CONACyT (the Mexican National Research Council). The office was previously located in Rio De Janeiro (where it opened in 2007), and was generously hosted by the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
