Sergio Pastrana
Sergio Pastrana graduated with a major in English Literature and Language and is a Full Professor at the University. As the Foreign Secretary of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, he is its representative at the International Council for Science (ICSU) where he has been elected member of the Executive Board. He is the President of the Committee of Admission, and member of the Work Group on Biosecurity in the Inter Academy Panel for International Issues (IAP) Executive Committee, and a Member of the Board of the Comunidad Cientifica del Caribe (CCC). His work specialty is history of International Relations in science.
