Visit to the Mayan Intercultural University
On August 20th 2011, Manuel Limonta visited the Mayan Intercultural University and attended the graduation ceremony of the first generation of graduates.
The Mayan Intercultural University is a public University founded by Santos Alvarado Dzul, Héctor Cálix de Dios, Javier Rivero Esquivel y Francisco Rosado May in 2007.
They started the work that led to the creation of an education model to meet the long standing demand of the local Maya population in the state of Quintana Roo for higher education.
