AGU Town Hall 2012: To help shape the Future Earth programme, the transition team tasked with designing Future Earth discussed the initiative with the AGU community. The Future Earth Town Hall was held during the 2012 AGU Fall meeting on 6 December.
Future Earth - Regional Workshop for Asia: This workshop was held to discuss, challenge, regionalise and specify the initial design options on the global research framework for Future Earth and the governance structure that an international Transition Team of experts have been working on.
Future Earth Global Environmental Change Meeting: The Global Environmental Change community met to discuss the research framework of Future Earth and how the core projects will transition to the Future Earth programme. This workshop was held on 28th-29th of November 2012 at the UNESCO HQ in Paris, France.
