Future Earth - research for global sustainability will be launched at ICSU's Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation at Rio+20.
Future Earth will be launched at Thursday the 14th of June at the Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development; a major five-day Forum held prior to the Rio+20 conference in Rio de Janeiro.

The Rio+20 conference will take place 20-22 June 2012, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A series of Intergovernmental Preparatory Meetings will be held in the run up to the conference over 2011 and 2012. ICSU represents the international scientific community in this process, and is organising a range of activities for Rio+20.
