The purpose of this project is to combine indegionous medical knowledge with modern biomedical sciences to improve healthcare in Africa. An intergreted approach will be undertaken to reduce the burden of high impact transmissable deseases such as malaria, tubercolosis, HIV&AIDS and water-borne diseases.
