- ICSU ROA Project Proposal Writing Workshop: Sustainable Energy & Natural and Human-induced Hazards and Disasters
- ICSU Regional Office for Africa re-launched the implementation of its science plans on Sustainable Energy and on Natural and Human-induced Hazards and Disasters through a change of approach. The approach is to establish thematic international research consortia to develop project proposals from the science plans and submit to identified funders. To this effect, ICSU ROA organised a workshop on 22-23 March 2012 in Pretoria, South Africa, to concretise the formation of consortia and to plan the way forward with the planned project proposals. The workshop was held in Pretoria, South Africa.
