Based on Initial discussions with PECS Program Office we would like to investigate the development of a Multi-scale Southern Africa case study that could form one of the core case studies of the Global PECS initiative. We envisage that such a Southern African Program on Ecosystem Change and Society (SAPECS) will have a multi-scale structure with Southern Africa at the regional scale.
