ICSU was established in 1932 as a forum to bring
scientists together from different countries and disciplines to address
issues of common concern.
ICSU’s members and interdisciplinary bodies organize conferences,
congresses, workshops and symposia all around the world. These events
facilitate the exchange of scientific ideas and knowledge that is critical
to the progress of science.
All such events are organized in accord with the principal of Universality
of Science, which prohibits discrimination and promotes equity in the
practice of science.
